CWEP Customer Academy

What is the CWEP Customer Academy?

When you flip a switch at your home or business, the lights come on. When you turn the faucet, the water flows. But have you ever wondered what goes into making that happen?

Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CWEP) is excited to offer our customers an up-close and personal look into how we operate and serve our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Go behind the scenes with us, tour our historic facilities, and learn directly from CWEP staff about how we deliver reliable power, water, and communication services to your homes and businesses.

This is a free, interactive program aimed to engage and educate our customers about CWEP’s operations, offering a deeper understanding of your local utility.

All CWEP Customer Academy sessions will feature CWEP experts of each utility department. The academy consists of 5 consecutive sessions on Wednesday evenings starting April 8th (2027 Dates/Times/Locations TBD). Dinner will be provided for all participants at each session.
