There’s something magical about the holiday season in Carthage, and Sparkle in the Park has become one of the community’s favorite traditions. Each year, CWEP crews spend countless hours transforming Central Park into a dazzling winter wonderland with thousands of lights and festive displays for everyone to enjoy.
Join us each year as we kick off the holiday season with our annual Sparkle in the Park Lighting Ceremony, traditionally held the Monday before Thanksgiving. The event marks the official lighting of the display and brings the community together to celebrate the season.
Following the lighting ceremony, Sparkle in the Park is open nightly from 5 p.m. to midnight through January 1, giving families plenty of opportunities to experience the magic throughout the holidays.
