Carthage is shining BRIGHT this holiday season! Our community has once again gone above and beyond with creative, festive light displays across town. Now it’s your turn to help us celebrate their hard work.

Entry Comments: We don’t have a particular theme showcased but love to show our neighborhood the Christmas spirit and holiday cheer! We have inflatables from Santa and his reindeer falling down the house to candy canes and snowmen. We hope everyone loves our display as much as we enjoyed putting it together for everyone to see!

Entry Comments: We love traditional lights and try to take advantage of the height of the house while still putting everything up ourselves. The mix of color and icicle lights comes from a childhood love of both styles. Of course the nativity is a key part of the whole display.

Entry Comments: I have been working on building my display for many years. Just recently moved to Carthage and was told by friends to enter the contest. I just enjoy letting others see the lights. Just hope everyone enjoys as much as we do.

Entry Comments: This is our first year and we just wanted to give the City of Carthage some Christmas love and cheer and our neighborhood some excitement.


1605 Robertson Ave.

Entry Comments: We bought our house 3.5 years ago coming from a small apartment and each year we enjoying spending our time outside listening to the Christmas music making our display bigger each year with such a huge yard to do so. We get compliments every time we are outside working from everyone who passes by and our neighbors telling us they love our decorations and love us being there. So come by and see our display even stop for a picture under our lighted tunnel! Merry Christmas Carthage!

1406 S. Maple St.

Entry Comments: Our youngest son Casey is a "special" person which has not stopped him from most challenges he has faced over the years. He enjoys setting up our yard for Halloween and Christmas especially and you might find it lit up other times of the year as well. Although we have to help him with some construction and set up, he has done all the sequencing of the lights, trees, arches and the new light tunnel that was added last year in the driveway. Please give him a vote as he is also very competitive.

Entry Comments: My display is based on an American Christmas Story,I am a proud Army Veteran who is trying to make the holiday bright again 1 bulb at a time
