Assistance Programs

Electric Assistance
- Economic Security: Joplin Office (417) 781-0352. for more information or to apply, visit: https://mydss.mo.gov/utility-assistance/liheap
- The Missouri Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) offers programs which are administered through Economic Security.
- Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) provides relief for eligible households to alleviate an energy-related crisis during the winter and summer months.
